There has been a huge push to go back to communicating to something that exisited before Facebook took the helm. Sadly, the days of Yahoogroups and forums such as Blab and Fallen Leaves and even The Giant Cat Head are either fairly silent or long gone. What do to? As many are talking about turning their blogs back on it got me thinking that I should come to these pages, dust them off and reconnect with the hobby. Little did I realize that this blog is not just a few pages, it's one heck of a record of my studio life! It's been sorta cool to look back and see my progress.
So much has happened since I last wrote that I don't think I can even recap! I think it best to just dive into what I'm doing currently. Most excitedly, I'm mid production of a few new ceramics including two cats and a dancing pony. They're all sculpted and are at the mold making stage now. My mold making sorta stinks. I make the uggliest molds, but they are usable. My goal is to one day make nice molds, but for now it's a weirdo adventure and you'll get to come along for the ride!
So, as I brush off my HTML skills, I hope you'll stick around! There's much to share with you now!
