The end of the holidays means back to normal days here in the studio, which means back to studio work and teaching. Two of my students were excited to learn how to use watercolors today and it was great fun and very inspiring to watch them explore this medium for the very first time. The "egg" still life is always a favorite of mine to teach to new students. In all honesty, even for me at this stage of doing art this particular still life is always a challenge because it's so simple, it's difficult.
