Oh, to be able to dig a hole like that not hit a rock.... I'm green with envy....can't do that here.
Actually watching all these youtube vids opens a flood of ideas for me...

oh how cool! when I saw that video I thought wow..I want tot do that to some day! good luck! I have seen homemade kilns before but they are all so big.. this one is perfect! cant wait to see what comes out of it!

I love working with a pit kiln! The excitement of pulling fired work out of the ashes is second to none! If we can ever get from under the burn ban here I'm going to use mine again LOL.
