Seems appropriate that the first drawing of the new year would be a baby. Someone brought their newborn to the party and I tried with all my might to resist drawing her. She was perfect. In the end I just couldn't resist. I definitely didn't capture her "essence" nor do I feel this looks like a 3 week old newborn, but it was still a valiant attempt at a baby which is probably one of the hardest things for me to draw next to architecture.
